ABOUT ME

SIGN UP FOR ASSISTANCE

We are a group of likeminded individuals who have come together with a vision, not only to help families and patients who are affected by Pediatric Cancer tap into short - term financial relief but we strive to provide youth cancer patients with vouchers to continue helping their family in long-term recovery scenarios. Whether you just started or whether you are in the final stages of recovery, our staff and support team is here to help so families experiencing this hardship can focus entirely on their loved one’s health and recovery. While we do require all cases to be under current care, we asses each application as early as one business day. We work to alleviate financial burdens and hardship due to pediatric cancer and in some cases we will also offer help with co-pay bills if and when funds are available. In addition we “Assist” with rent, utilities, groceries, temporary transportation solutions as well as fees associated to traveling to and from medical appointments. Our risk management team helps assist families dealing with pediatric cancer by offering free rides among other resources, We do not focus on treatment funding or recovery as we do not fund any medication. All help is provided on a temporary basis as funds are limited. We hope to turn that around as we gear up for the summer 2025 campaigns. However, we never guarantee help since funds aren’t always available. The team will meet with you at an office near you or at a designated location to conduct all interviews. If and when the applicant cannot travel to an office we may conduct interviews via zoom. Each case is unique and we handle each interaction with privacy as well as best practices. Each application is treated with respect, dignity and urgency however; some applications do take a little longer due to criteria and other eligibility requirements in our screening process. Thank you for visiting our online platform and home.

WHY GOD SEND PROJECT

In addition to the emotional burden of childhood cancer, the affected families often face significant financial difficulty due to a range of issues including treatment expenses and parents’ time away from work. We exist to aid those families with these expenses. With your generosity and those who take time daily to travel, promote these campaigns and raise awareness we have been able to not only help several families in West Texas but we’ve been able to expand into South West Texas and Counties within ESD District 1 and 2 to include our city of El Paso where we launched back in August of 2024. We are local and support local. The city of El Paso is our focus.

In the United States an estimated 15,000 to 15,750 Children are diagnosed with Cancer annually. According to the National Cancer Institute and American Childhood Cancer Organization Data, it shows that 1 in 285 Children in the U.S Will be Diagnosed with Cancer before their 20th Birthday. This statistic is enormous for the West Texas and South West Texas Regions.

Childhood cancer can have major physical and psychological impacts on families. The financial toll of childhood cancer affects the stability and the quality of life for entire families. During treatment, families face out-of-pocket expenses, which can contribute to their “financial toxicity,” meaning the financial burden related to a cancer diagnosis and treatment. The other thing that affects families financial toxicity is that parents commonly reduce their working hours after their child is diagnosed with cancer, which may mean their household income is also reduced.

The financial toxicity and employment disruptions during cancer treatment are clear. Financial toxicity and employment interruptions occur among parents of children who experiences pediatric cancer. These families experience different factors, according to pre-existing savings, bonds, stocks, etc.

Our mission is to alleviate all if not most financial burdens. Our mission is to assist these families face while they face this battle and recover from pediatric Cancer.
